About Me
My name is Caleb Austin. I am an applied engineer currently studying Mechanical Engineering Technology at Kennesaw State University. I will be graduating with a Bachelors in May 2022. I am looking to work for a company where I can be of service utilizing my talents. I wish to not only add value to the workplace, but also to the lives of those that the company impacts. I am a detail oriented and determined individual. I am passionate about my work. I am also very personable and well spoken, which enables me to translate complex concepts into layman’s terms. I am well-versed and knowledgeable with engineering concepts such as computer aided design (CAD), Matlab, GD&T, additive manufacturing and many more programs and software. Toyo Tire - Co-op Intern

As an intern I performed numerous tasks. They included but were not limited to reviewing and editing CAD drawings, inspecting machines, and working with a team to ensure each tire was made according to Japanese standards.

Kennesaw State - Tutor

As a tutor I was required to teach and guide students through difficult engineering concepts. Some being but not limited to were CAD, thermodynamics, Matlab, CNC Programing and more.
Kennesaw State - Lab Assistant
Dec. 2020 - May 2022
As a lab assistant I was responsible for many different projects. One of the many tasks I was assigned was to help students understand how to design for additive manufacturing and help repair and maintain the 3D printers. In addition, I would help design and print parts to upgrade printers and would also design different things for the kinesiology research lab at Kennesaw State.
